The Alcohol Care team works across ED and the inpatient wards at Denmark Hill & PRUH to improve care for patients with alcohol dependence. We will see all patients who have a dependence on alcohol or drugs or who would like to speak to someone about their use. All patients requiring medication for alcohol detox should be referred even if they do not wish to stop drinking so we can provide help with clinical management.
The team operates 7 days a week at Denmark Hill
Mon-Fri: 8am-8pm Saturday & Sunday: 8am-4pm
At the PRUH:
Currently operates Monday - Friday 9am-5pm
