E-Rostering Training
E-Roster Training
E-Roster training is now provided via online interactive training courses, accessed via LEAP, which include an assessment that must be passed in order to be given access to HealthRoster, the Trust's E-Rostering system.
Managers will submit an access request form to the e-Rostering Team, who will enrol the staff member on the relevant E-Roster training course on LEAP. Access to HealthRoster will be set up by the e-Rostering Team once the staff member has successfully completed the course, including the assessment.

Accessing E-Rostering Training
A HealthRoster account is not normally issued until a staff member has undergone HealthRoster training.
In order to request training for a staff member, the requesting manager should:

Refresher Training
Staff who previously underwent training on HealthRoster Version 10:

However, we do strongly recommend that staff undertake the LEAP-based e-Roster training to update their knowledge. If staff already have access to HealthRoster, they will be able to continue using it whilst they are undertaking the refresher training.

Accessing E-Rostering Training

- Email a completed HealthRoster Access Request Form to the e-Rostering Team, specifying the relevant level of access, whether Bank Requests are required or not, and the wards/units to which access is required. Please refer to the above table in order to identify the access and level of training required.

- Staff members will be then be enrolled on one of the following LEAP courses by the E-Rostering Team:
- Roster Maintainer
- Roster Creator & Maintainer
- Unit Manager
- 2nd Level Approver
- The staff member will receive an email with details of their enrolment and a link to the online course.
- Once the staff member has successfully completed the course and passed the assessment, the E-Rostering Team will be notified and will issue the requested account at this point.
- The requesting manager will be notified of the outcome.
